Hotel dei Pini

What a great hotel / resort. Secluded location on a clean, beautiful private beach. Down a country road behind gates. A note is that GPS directions may tell you to turn left as you approach. Don't do that.. Turn right and you'll see the first gate on the left.. Head to the back and hit the beach... Umbrellas, towels and lounging chairs are included. Soft white sand, clear blue water. The bar makes drinks and food to enjoy in the sand. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant that opens for dinner at 7:45 (right now anyhow). In the morning they have an outstanding breakfast buffet with indoor our outdoor seating. Also on site is a full bar in the wide open lobby that faces to the beach. Down a flight of stairs in back and there is a beach bar with food and drinks. A wide green lawn with chairs overlooks the beach. Some rooms have balconies that open to the lawn. The grounds are almost like a jungle but well groomed with lots of beautiful trees. There is a very nice pool with a great view of the bay with lush greenery all around. Our room was the suite with a massively large balcony overlooking the beach. The bed was firm and very nice. Nice big shower with robes. Closets and slippers. In room coffeemaker. The best part is the staff and service. The desk staff are so helpful, kind and patient. In particular Rosalina (I think that is the right spelling) is wonderfully kind, charming, helpful and very lovely young woman. She made my stay a treat... I recommend it with full confidence and I'd love to return.

We celebrated our Dream come true Wedding with a romantic sea view in the Hotel dei Pini on the 17th of June. For us the location was very significant as half of our guests were flying all over from Europe. The hotel is located only 10 minutes from the airport which was ideal for our guests and giving them the option to stay for a week holiday or a long weekend to celebrate with us. Gisela provided all the necessary details and information regarding wedding menu, room bookings advises regarding transportations and kept us updated with everything we needed for our wedding and went above and beyond our expectations. As my husband is an Executive Chef the wedding menu was his heart and had to be perfect: we were not disappointed. Head Chef Domenico Cuda made a special effort that the menu was exceptional. Even when we went for the trial menu, Domenico came to our table to make sure that my husband is happy with everything, furthermore there was no trouble for the Chef to create special menu for kids, guests with allergies or for me as I am pregnant. On our Wedding day the food was faultless. We had a buffet starter and our guest were amazed of the selection and the high quality of the food, than followed by a sited menu; all super fresh and delicious. Some of our guests said they had the best wedding meal ever! Service was Top! Very well done for the restaurant team! The Party was at the swimming pool and the Bar team looked after our guest to not leave anyone thirsty 😊 Perfect Cocktail selection, fruit salad, mini sandwiches. The Hotel accommodated all of our requests and went above and beyond to make our special day just splendid.
